We support bereaved children, young people and their families living in the York area. We do this in several ways.

We run a monthly drop-in peer support group for bereaved children, young people and their families to come together and play, do crafts (including special 'remembering' activities) knowing that everyone there has experienced something similar. We meet on the second Saturday of the month.

We have launched a service offering one to one therapeutic support for those children who need it, delivered by one of our Bereavement Practitioners.

We organise social trips and activities (e.g. Trampoline, theatre, football match etc) and have recently launched a coffee meet up group for the parents/carers of bereaved children.

We have also hosted training days for schools about how to support bereaved children in their care.
